KAZIM TEKİN
Co-Country Manager
Kazım Tekin was born in 1963 in Avanos-Nevşehir. He is a graduate of Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, Department of International Relations. He completed his master's degree at Gazi University and completed the Public Administration Master's Program at Exeter University in the United Kingdom.
After his graduation, he worked as Feke District Governor, Karakoçan District Governor, Bitlis Deputy Governor, Tosya District Governorship, Kazan District Governorship, Haymana District Governorship, Merzifon District Governorship, then Istanbul Deputy Governor between the years of 2010-2014 and Istanbul Başakşehir District Governorship between the years of 2014-2019. During his term as Deputy Governor of Istanbul, he was responsible for the Foreign Relations and European Union Coordination Center and managed the relations with the consulates of foreign countries in Istanbul.
Kazım Tekin participated in the Regional Development Program in Japan, the International Research on the Construction of Local Governments in Hong Kong, the study program on Turkey-European Union Relations in Belgium, the National Development seminar in Taiwan, and the International Leadership Programs in the USA. Mr. Tekin also attended a 1-year Vocational Education program in England.
After his public service, he joined the RoyalCert Audit International team and assumed the role of Co-Chair of Country. He is also a Member of the Executive Board at Silverline Ev Gereçleri A.Ş., a publicly-traded company in BIST Istanbul, and a Consultant to the Board of Directors at Ermetal A.Ş., one of the important iron and steel companies of our country for the purpose of utilizing his experiences in the Turkish private sector.
Mr. Tekin, who is active in Social Activities, carries out the Presidency of Nevşehirli Bureaucrats and Business People Association for this purpose, in addition, he is the manager and coordinator of many social activities.
